EHSSG | The Ethnic Health System Strengthening Group

In 2025, the Technical Collaborative Unit (TCU) released a revised Community Health Worker (CHW) Training Curriculum and Manual, updating the decade-old version to address evolving health needs. The curriculum was developed collaboratively with EHSSG member organizations and trainers from KDHW, BPHWT, BMA, MTC, and EHSSG. It is designed to strengthen CHWs’ skills while remaining aligned with key health principles. Established to support health systems in ethnic and conflict-affected areas, TCU emphasizes sustainable workforce development. This updated curriculum reflects the collective dedication of all contributors and aims to enhance community health and well-being.
